Classic Motor Cars

Our introduction into Classic car model building started when a very good friend of ours, commissioned us to assemble a Pocher kit of a 1/8th. scale Mercedes-Benz  500.        If you've ever attempted to build a Pocher kit, I'm sure you'll agree it's no mean task ... if you want to do it right.      We did however, continue to build a number of other Pocher kits for our client.       Some of these models were sold through "Wilkinson's Automobilia" a retail store for serious car model collectors here in Vancouver B.C.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom II was the next project, but in order to add a little more originality to the models, it was decided to use the chassis only from the Pocher kit, and we build a totally new body of a 1930's, American built Henley Brewster Roadster.        Four of these "Pocher /Brinkworth" models were built and sold.

The totally "BRINKWORTH ROLLS-ROYCE" model, came later, when a client in Japan, asked us to build four more Rolls-Royce models for display in his Toyota dealership showroom, in Tokyo.        We decided this time, we'd build our own chassis and wheels, and eliminate the "Pocher" content of our models completely.
